The Isla Blanca Kite Festival was held as always on the last weekend in February. This year we were joined by Cancun kite fliers Robert Reyes and Cira Caballero. Penny Lingenfelter, an international kite flying expert, came from Washington State. Russ and Pat Mosier joined us from Florida. They do kite making workshops for kids in the United States. Ron and Tina from New Jersey flew their big kites. The children from Cancun Pro Kids enjoyed flying their kites, swimming in the ocean, and a lunch provided by Perico’s.
